Escape Tactic Opening Delayed until 2017

Unfortunately challenges with the City of Charlotte have cost us the location we expected to open at 520 Clanton Rd.  So the Escape Tactic opening has been delayed.   It’s both frustrating and disappointing as we’re eager to bring top-of-the-line escape rooms to Charlotte, but we’re not deterred.  We’ve been actively looking at other locations – up to 42 now! – and we’re making progress.  We continue to get an education in commercial real estate.  It’s baffling to see some landlords list property for lease – or even for sale – but actually tell you they have no desire to lease or sell their space.  Someday someone will have to explain that to me.

So while the delays have been frustrating to us and the many of you who have already reached out to us, it’s something we’ll have to live with.  The good news is the extra time has allowed us to now finish our 5th game – Amazon Survival – and make great progress on our 6th escape room (to be announced later).  So when we finally do open our Charlotte escape rooms, we’ll have tons of great games for everyone to try out.
